The market dropped considerably jeudi, and Nasdaq Combined Composite Index (COMPX) closed at 16387 points after a decline of 4.3 percent.

1149 shares were up and 5960 were down, while 117 remained unchanged, and there was no trading in 139 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates jeudi was approximately 1046.2 billion.

Iboxx $ High Yield Corporate Bd Ishares (HYG) closed at 76.51 dollar after posting a loss of 1.6 percent. The previous time l'action lost this much was séptembre 13. 2022, when it closed down 2.3 percent. L'action has thereby closed down 12 out of the past 16 days. Nor technically does it look good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term, but has marginally broken down through the support at 76.60 dollar.
Iboxx $ Invest Grade Corp Bond Ishares (LQD) developed negatively and fell 1.7 percent to a close of 105 dollar. We must go back to janvier 14 to find a lower close for l'action. This past week l'action has lost as much as 3.4 percent. L'action triggered a sell signal by the break down through the support at 105 dollar in formation rectangulaire. A further drop to 97.35 dollar within 17 months is indicated.
Eli Lilly (LLY) was down 4.4 percent to close at 721 dollar. We must go back to février 2024 to find a lower close for l'action. This past week l'action has lost as much as 8.6 percent. It does not look good technically either. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term, has marginally broken down through the support at 730 dollar and a further decline is indicated.
Exxon Mobil (XOM) was down 5.5 percent to close at 99.93 dollar. L'action has not closed lower since janvier 2024. L'action has thereby closed down six out of the past seven days and this past month l'action has lost as much as 8.5 percent. Nor technically does it look good. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.
Alibaba Group ADR (BABA) declined slightly 0.6 percent and ended the day at 104 dollar. L'action has thereby closed down 13 out of the past 16 days and this past month l'action has lost as much as 25.1 percent. Technically, however, it looks good. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.

US 500 plummets!
The market crashed jeudi, and S&P 500 (SP500) ended the day at 5268 poeng, which is a drop of 3.5 percent.
