The market moved up Thursday, and OMX Stockholm PI ended at 1003 points, which is an increase of 1.8 percent. The index has not closed higher since Jul 31.

582 shares showed a gain and 332 showed a loss. 88 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 60 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Thursday was approximately 21.7 billion.

SBB Norden B closed at 7.97 kronor after a solid gain of 12.6 percent. We must go back to May 14 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 20.2 percent. It also looks good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, has support at 6.30 kronor and a further increase is indicated.
Hexagon B rose sharply to close at 103 kronor, up 3.6 percent. The previous time the stock gained this much was Dec 8. 2023, when it closed up 6.1 percent. It does, however, not look good technically. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.
Sandvik ended with a solid gain of 3.4 percent and closed at 218 kronor. The stock has now closed up for the seventh day in a row and this past week the stock has gained as much as 6.9 percent. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, but has broken up through resistance at 215 kronor.
Tethys Oil moved horizontally and closed at 54.10 kronor (+0.2 percent). This past week the stock has gained as much as 74.2 percent. The stock is assessed as technically slightly positive for the medium long term.
Epiroc A rose sharply to close at 201 kronor, up 4.0 percent. The stock has never gained more in one day since May 20, when it was up 6.6 percent. The stock triggered a buy signal by the break up through the resistance at 199 kronor in double bottom formation. A further increase to 212 kronor within two months is indicated.
